Schooling, Campaigning & Sale
Do you need your horse schooled or educated, do you need to find your horse a new home but not sure how to go about it, or perhaps you need your horse taken to competitions to gain experience? at Rosebrook we take on horses of all ages for schooling, campaigning and sale, from Breakers to FEI level dressage horses and Eventers, quiet adult horses and kids ponies. In this service we will present your horse for producution of a DVD photos to send to potential clients. We communicate and deal with potential clients from the first phone call and work together with you to get the best price for your horse.
Groom. Tack-
This is a service we have available to our busy clients who only have time to fit in a ride/lesson before or after work. We will have your horse well presented and tacked up ready to ride at the time you request, when you are finished hand the reins over and continue on with your busy day while we take the time to look after your horse and return him/her to their paddock or stable. We also have available the option of having your horse professionally prepared/turned out for competition day.
Post op and injury care
This service is designed for those owners who have had horses in surgery or injury that need care and dont want to spend the dollars on more vet bills and vet agistment. Rosebrook offers this to horses who have had unfortunate accidents in fences, or have an injury that requires box rest and/or regular bandage changing to encourage minimal to no scarring. Rosebrook’s staff are very experienced with treating a variety of injuries and understand the results that as an owner you are wanting to achieve.
Foaling
Mares can be foaled down at Rosebrook under experienced
supervision. This includes regular checking of the mare and
24hr use of “foal watch”. Mares will be foaled down in in a
specially lit foaling paddock. It is recommended that mares
are not transported any later than 6weeks prior to their
due date and that they are seen by a vet post foaling.
Weaning
Foals will be weaned between 5 and 6 months of age. They are taught to lead, tie up and have general handling at a charge of $110 (plus agistment).
Farrier services
All horses at Rosebrook can be shod upon your request. Payment of shoeing and trimming will be charged to the owner.
Additional & Miscellanious Costs
All horses will be dewormed on arrival at Rosebrook and then fit
into our regular worming routine. Worming treatments will be
charged to the owner at $20.00.
